Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking an experienced CNC Set Up Machinist for a growing manufacturing company in Stanchfield, MN. Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $25–$30/hour (DOE)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to job specifications

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings

• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for each job

• Perform offsets, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain part accuracy

• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools

• Monitor machine performance and make corrections to ensure quality and efficiency

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures

• Document production data and communicate issues to supervisors as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments

• Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials

• Ability to perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
