Our client, a metal coating company for automotive parts, is seeking a waste water lab technician for their busy team. Responsibilities in this role include performing titrations, accurately completing logs, treating waste water, maintaining Salt Water spray and solutions, along with maintaining inventory of chemicals for various tasks.
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Pay: From $17/hr.
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Qualifications: (an ideal candidate will possess the following)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ year waste water/lab technician equivalent
- Ability to understand and perform various lab tests for Phosphate lines, waste water, and salt spray in relation to company processes.
- Experience performing inventory and scheduling orders for additional chemicals
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
