2nd Shift Team Lead

Located in Columbus, IN

Salary: $20/hr

Company Information: A company in Columbus, Indiana is hiring a Team Lead to their team! 

 

The Team Lead will:

• Lead the shipping & receiving team to meet all shipping, receiving, and inventory requirements.
• Oversee daily organization, staffing, and workflow in shipping, receiving, and storage areas.
• Ensure accuracy of receipts/shipments and compliance with all food safety guidelines.
• Coordinate activities across departments, including purchasing and production.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and yard spotter tractors.
• Schedule daily personnel to ensure proper staffing and productivity.
• Direct day-to-day activities in shipping and receiving. 

 

Team Lead's Pay/Benefits:

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 4PM-12:30AM

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience leading associates. 
• 1+ years of experience in shipping or receiving. 
• 1+ years of operating material-handling equipment.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Basic computer, mechanical, and math skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Logical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
• Ability to obtain certification for material-handling equipment.
