Job Title: Trailer Staff

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: On-site (outdoor work)
Schedule: Day shift to start; future transition to 24/7 shift coverage

Position Overview

We are hiring Trailer Staff to support daily operations by inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining trailers used to transport fruit in and out of our facility. This role is primarily outdoors and requires frequent communication with truck drivers, accurate tracking of trailer activity, and hands-on physical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect trailers for cleanliness, damage, and overall readiness
• Clean and maintain trailers as needed
• Track incoming and outgoing trailers using Excel
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers
• Support efficient flow of fruit shipments
• Work outdoors near cold storage in varying temperatures and weather conditions

Schedule & Availability

• This position will begin on day shift
• Over time, Trailer Staff schedules will be adjusted to provide 24/7 coverage
• Flexibility to work different shifts in the future is required

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Comfortable working in hot and uncomfortable outdoor conditions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Basic Excel proficiency
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
