We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Pasteurizer Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pasteurization equipment to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can follow precise procedures, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pasteurizer machines according to established procedures and safety standards
• Set, adjust, and verify critical control points (temperature, flow rate, pressure, etc.)
• Perform start-up, shut-down, clean-in-place (CIP), and sterilization procedures
• Conduct routine quality checks and record required data accurately
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues and communicate problems promptly
• Ensure pasteurization logs and records meet regulatory and company requirements
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and production teams to meet daily goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory compliance standards
• Assist with product changeovers and line adjustments as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in temperature-controlled environments
• Basic computer/data entry skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience operating pasteurization or thermal processing equipment
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, or food safety regulations
• Experience with CIP systems
• Forklift certification (optional)
