CNC Press Brake Operator

Located in Piedmont, SC

Press brake operator will be responsible for setting up and operation of Trumpf and Wysong press-brakes. Individual will select and properly set up all tooling as needed for parts to be fabricated to customer specifications as well as be responsible for quality inspections of finished parts off the press-brakes. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Operate and set up of (1) Trumpf TrumaBend V200 and (2) Wysong press brakes. · Select proper tooling based on material type and thickness using bend deduction/allowance charts provided by the company. · Keep work area clean and organized. · Complete routine proper maintenance of press-brakes. · Comply to all company rules and policies. · Maintain great level of attention to detail and focus. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS · High School Diploma or GED. · 1+ years of experience setting up and operating press brake(s). · Knowledge of press-brake tooling and related hand tools used in normal operation of press-brakes. · Knowledge of taking sheet metal parts from flat to formed using bend deduction/allowance charts and determining bend sequences needed to make parts to customer specifications. · Proven measurement and mathematical fraction to decimal conversion skills. · Working knowledge of the metric and standard system. · Ability to read and understand customer and company provided part drawings/prints. · Ability to quickly identify different material types of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Galvanized and Carbon Steel.
