Job Title: Forklift Operator- Crown Equipment 

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $21.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Columbus, Ohio facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forklift operation, 360 cherry picker operation and warehouse processes, along with experience using Crown and Raymond equipment.

You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts / cherry pickers, conducting inventory movement, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. This position requires someone who is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a standing forklift and 360 degree cherry picker.

  • Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.

  • Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of inventory movement.

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

  • Perform general warehouse duties including picking orders, cleaning, loading and unloading trucks and helping where needed.
  • Forklift / cherry picker operation will be about 50-60% of the job with the balance being general warehouse work.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Participate in regular testing and evaluations for math and comparison skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent forklift / cherry picker experience is required.

  • Equipment Experience: Must have hands-on experience with Crown and Raymond equipment.  Must not be afraid of working in high places / multi levels.

  • Testing: Must successfully complete equipment testing on standing forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.

  • Math & Comparison Skills: Must pass a math and comparison evaluation test.

  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
