A well-established Construction Company in Fargo, ND is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Backup Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep financial operations running smoothly while supporting a busy, growing business.

 

What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll primarily handle accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and maintaining organized financial records. You’ll also serve as a backup for payroll, assisting with timekeeping, payroll processing, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time when needed.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining vendor relationships, assisting with month-end tasks, and supporting the office with general administrative duties as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in accounts payable required
• Payroll experience or willingness to learn payroll processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
