1st Shift Team Lead
Located in Columbus, IN
Salary: $25/hr
Job Summary/Company Information:
- Provide daily supervision and leadership to warehouse associates.
- Assign tasks to warehouse operators and sit-down forklift drivers; ensure Work Orders are accurate and fully supported.
- Cross-train across all warehouse departments.
- Support operators with printing labels, basic admin tasks, and RF scanner use.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance; recommend improvements as needed.
- Handle conflict resolution professionally and effectively.
- Ensure work is completed according to operating procedures and instructions.
- Lead facility upkeep and improvements.
- Assist with WMS (Warehouse Management System) updates and improvements.
- Support production during high-demand periods or labor shortages.
Pay/Benefits:
- $25/hr
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
- Opportunity for some overtime.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory warehouse role.
- Recent sit-down forklift experience; ability to train and certify forklift drivers preferred.
- Strong conflict-resolution and team-leadership skills.
- Solid warehouse background with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to operate an RF scanner and print labels.
