MIG Welder – 2nd Shift | St. Peters, MO

Pay: $23.00/hr | Weekly Pay Schedule: 2nd Shift — 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in St. Peters. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in laying clean, consistent welds and can read blueprints to spec. If you've got steady hands and solid experience behind the gun, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing MIG welding on a variety of metal components per work orders and blueprints
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Setting up and adjusting welding equipment including voltage, wire speed, and gas flow
• Inspecting completed welds for quality, strength, and appearance
• Grinding, fitting, and prepping materials as needed prior to welding
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, joint types, and metal properties
• AWS certification is a plus but not required
• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work independently
