About the Role:

We're hiring experienced Flexographic Printing Press Operators in Maryland Heights. This is a position for a true press operator — someone who understands ink systems, plate mounting, registration, and can troubleshoot on the fly to keep production running with minimal waste. If you know your way around a flexo press and don't need someone standing over your shoulder, this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring flexographic printing presses to produce quality printed products
• Mounting plates, mixing and matching inks to color standards, and adjusting registration
• Monitoring print quality throughout runs, making real-time adjustments to impression, tension, and ink delivery
• Performing makereadies and changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime
• Troubleshooting print defects such as dot gain, banding, bleeding, and misregistration
• Performing routine press maintenance including cleaning anilox rolls, changing doctor blades, and general upkeep
• Maintaining accurate production logs and waste tracking

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses
• Solid understanding of the flexographic printing process including ink viscosity, plate management, substrate tension, and drying systems
• Ability to color match using a densitometer or spectrophotometer
• Knowledge of anilox roll selection and care
• Comfortable reading job tickets, work orders, and print specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to print quality and production efficiency
