Position Summary:
A busy law office is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the efficient functioning of the firm. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of legal office procedures. The Office Manager will support attorneys and staff while maintaining a professional, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization across all departments
  • Supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Manage office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Coordinate workflow and provide support to attorneys and legal assistants as needed
  • Handle office budgeting, expense tracking, and vendor management
  • Oversee billing processes, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections
  • Maintain and improve office systems, including case management and document management processes
  • Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of client records and sensitive information
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, service providers, and building management
  • Assist with HR-related functions such as onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee records
  • Support client relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of service

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of office management experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of law office procedures, billing practices, and legal terminology preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal/case management software
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong financial and administrative management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
