About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator with hands-on experience operating, setting up, and maintaining HAAS and MAZAK CNC equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of producing precise, high‑quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, set up, and adjust HAAS and MAZAK CNC machines for production runs.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and setup sheets.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and part inspections to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues such as tooling wear, dimensional deviations, or program errors.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
• Maintain proper documentation for each job, including quality checks and production logs.
• Ensure machines are properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced according to schedule.
• Work closely with programming, engineering, and quality teams to optimize machining processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating HAAS and MAZAK CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Familiarity with tooling, fixtures, and machining best practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
• Knowledge of conversational programming (e.g., MAZATROL).
• Background in machining metals such as steel, aluminum, or specialty alloys.
• Prior experience in high‑mix/low‑volume environments.
