About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, electrical routing, and final preparation of specialized heavy equipment. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble large mechanical components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical system routing, including installation of wiring harnesses, cable trays, connectors, conduits, and control panels.
• Install hydraulics, pneumatics, and structural components with precision and accuracy.
• Conduct fit, function, and alignment checks on all assembled equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and assist with initial equipment testing as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in heavy equipment assembly, mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, or similar field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, drawings, and diagrams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems; familiarity with basic electrical principles is required.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
