Salary: $19/hr-$23/hr

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Raw Milk Receiver to join their 3rd shift operations team. This role is critical to ensuring that incoming raw milk meets all quality, safety, and regulatory standards before entering the production process.

The successful candidate will begin with dayside training to learn procedures, systems, and safety requirements before transitioning to the overnight schedule starting at 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sample, and unload raw milk from incoming tanker trucks
  • Collect and test samples for quality indicators (temperature, appearance, odor, and basic lab checks as trained)
  • Accurately document volumes, test results, and delivery information
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
  • Clean and sanitize receiving equipment, hoses, tanks, and work areas
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, quality staff, and production teams
  • Identify and report any quality, safety, or equipment concerns immediately
  • Comply with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures

Schedule

  • Training: Dayshift (schedule determined during onboarding)
  • Regular Shift: 3rd Shift, starting at 8:00 PM (weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required as business needs dictate)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in dairy processing, food manufacturing, or agricultural operations preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with pumps, valves, and hoses
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts after training
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a wet, temperature‑controlled environment
  • Comfortable working around raw agricultural products

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift
  • Exposure to cold, moisture, and strong food‑grade cleaners
  • Use of PPE such as gloves, boots, and protective clothing
