Customer Service/Marketing Coordinator

Location: Weston, MA
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Part-time (Around 20 hours/week, with potential to increase)
Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)

Position Overview:

A growing educational programs organization is seeking a temporary Customer Service / Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, customer communications, and social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and contributing to creative marketing initiatives.

This position will begin with onsite training (closer to full-time hours), with some flexibility in schedule over time based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests through a ticketing system (Freshdesk)
  • Provide timely, professional communication to families and program participants
  • Address questions, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Support registration processes, confirmations, and general program communication
  • Assist with creating and scheduling social media content
  • Design basic marketing materials using Canva
  • Help maintain online presence across website and social platforms
  • Support promotional efforts for seasonal and year-round programs
  • Assist with program coordination, logistics, and scheduling
  • Support internal communication using tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Notion
  • Help manage program data, rosters, and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience 
  • Social media experience (content creation, posting, or account management)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Experience with tools such as Slack, Zoom, Canva, or ticketing systems is a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
