Delivery Driver – Hudson, FL

Full-time

Monday - Friday

7:30am-4pm with 30 minute lunch

Pay: $17-$20 per Hour based on experience

 

We are seeking a dependable and safety conscious Delivery Driver to join a reputable commercial supply and distribution company in Hudson, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience operating commercial trucks and forklifts, a clean driving record, and the ability to represent the company professionally at every delivery stop.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate delivery trucks, including manual transmission (shift stick) vehicles, in compliance with company policy, DOT regulations, and all applicable laws. Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle inspection reports as required.
• Load, secure, and unload merchandise using a forklift and other equipment. Verify order accuracy against shipping documents and obtain required signatures upon delivery.
• Collect and secure payments for cash-sale deliveries. Resolve any shipping discrepancies on-site in a timely and professional manner.
• Pick up merchandise from vendor locations, collect customer returns, and load product from other wholesalers as directed by management.
• Report prospective sales leads and any mechanical issues to management. Complete all required safety and compliance training.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable forklift operator experience
• Manual transmission (shift stick) proficiency
• Ability to lift and unload materials up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
