Secondary Operator – Cary, IL | 1st Shift

Our client, a company in Cary, IL, is searching for Secondary Operators to join their 1st Shift team! In this role you will perform secondary finishing operations on precision-machined parts, conduct quality checks, maintain equipment, and support efficient production flow in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Secondary Operator Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate:

$16/hr

Secondary Operator Responsibilities:

• Perform secondary operations including deburring, washing, blasting, and part finishing
• Inspect parts using gauges, microscopes, and measurement tools to ensure specifications are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Complete routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Handle multiple job assignments throughout the day while maintaining production flow
• Communicate with supervisors regarding quality, workflow, and job status

Secondary Operator Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and finishing equipment
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Able to stand, bend, twist for extended periods
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
