Shop Helper- Swing

Located in Tualatin, OR

Salary: $20.50

We have a client in Tualatin seeking a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Shop Helper. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with their hands, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is willing to jump in wherever needed to support production operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators with daily tasks.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor.
• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required—training will be provided.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Essential Functions 

• Ability to accurately read numbers and correctly perform basic mathematical functions 
• Ability to use measuring tools 
• Ability to report to work on time and work the fully scheduled shift 
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 
• Ability to see and/or hear warning lights or buzzers 
• Ability to read job orders 
• Ability to understand general safety requirements  

Ability to recognize and report safety problems 

 

Schedule: Mon - Thurs 3:30PM - 12AM

You will train for a week on day shift and then go to swing shift post training.

 

Pay: $20.50/HR
