Salary: $26-$36/hr

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician / Mechanic for a manufacturing company in Leominster. This position will be responsible for both large machine assembly and sub-assemblies. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble large and small machinery with precision fitments, ensuring high-quality builds.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, GD&T symbols, and tolerances to execute precise assembly.
• Modify parts as needed when machining adjustments are required.
• Operate milling machines and lathes to refine or adjust components for assembly.
• Safely move and position large machine parts
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following best practices for heavy machinery handling.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly of large machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and management.

Pay Range: $26-$36/hr (negotiable depending on experience)

Schedule: Mon – Fri 7AM-3:30PM (optional overtime average 5-10 hours/week)
