Tool and Die Machinist

Located in Lincoln, NE

Salary: Up to $30/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a seasoned Tool and Die Machinist to join the team with a local Lincoln, NE company. Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Read and understand various visual models (blueprints, sketches, CAD files, etc.) to design products according to desired specifications.
• Visualize end results and plan appropriate methods and steps to reach desired results.
• Set up and operate a variety of CNC Machines including mills and lathes.
• Check (and double check!) design specifications for accuracy.
• Perform quality checks on new and existing dies, tools, and molds and make recommendations for improvements to both design and functionality.

Education/Experience:

• Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school required
• Minimum 6 months of related workforce experience required
• Ability to remain positive and professional at all times
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to comply with safety regulations

Shift/Pay:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Pay up to $30/hr depending on experience
