Part Time Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Smithville, TN. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients while efficiently managing front desk operations in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and maintain accurate records
• Process patient paperwork, co-pays, and billing information
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Manage filing, data entry, and general administrative tasks
• Keep the reception area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and scheduling software
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Professional demeanor and appearance

Work Schedule:

• Part-time hours (schedule to be determined based on business needs)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 15 lbs)
