Project Manager

Our client in Ypsilanti is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

What you’ll be doing as the Project Manager

• Oversee all operational aspects and project scopes from inception to completion, managing key deliverables such as engineering drawing sign-offs, production releases, shipping, and final installation.
•  Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and work plans, proactively communicating changes in scope, cost, or timelines to internal departments and external clients.
• Ensure full compliance with contract terms by interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to verify project requirements and track progress accurately.
• Drive project profitability and success by managing budgeting, invoicing, and proactive risk mitigation, escalating concerns to leadership when necessary to maintain alignment.

What we look for in a Project Manager

• 2-3 years of direct project management experience within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
•  Proven experience in subcontractor management, including coordinating schedules and ensuring work quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel or project scheduling tools.
• HS diploma or GED required
