Quality Assurance Technician

 

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals in Miami Dade South is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for a local manufacturing company in the Miami Dade area. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in incoming inspection, parts documentation, and quality control procedures. This is a full-time position with long-term opportunities.

Requirements:

•       Perform incoming inspection of critical parts and products to ensure they meet Purchase Order requirements; document, organize, label, and handle all critical materials assigned for inspection

•       Quarantine non-conforming parts or products pending management disposition; maintain accurate control records for all critical materials including Manufacturer Certificates, Ballistics Certificates, Heat Lot Traceability, POs, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Conformance

•       Accurately use precision measuring tools including tape measure, caliper, micrometer, height gauge, torque wrenches, Brinell hardness tester, and other mechanical or electronic measuring devices

•       Check in vehicles, enter information into the database, and establish Quality Books; understand and comply with company QMS standards and quality procedures

Schedule & Pay:

•       Monday to Friday | Full Time

Qualifications:

•       Prior experience in quality assurance, inspection, or a manufacturing environment preferred; ability to understand part number documentation, purchase orders, and basic engineering drawings

•       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and able to use computer systems for data entry, email, and record keeping

•       Ability to drive a forklift or willingness to receive forklift training; able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally

•       Strong written and verbal communication skills; team-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively while tracking parts, quality standards, and safety requirements
