Our client is seeking a Paper Picker to support landfill operations in Painesville, OH. The ideal candidate will help sort and manage recyclable materials, maintain safety standards, and assist with daily operational tasks.

Location: Painesville, OH
Pay: $17.50/hr

Schedule: 8AM to 4:30PM

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, pick, and organize paper and recyclable materials according to company procedures.
• Inspect materials for quality and proper disposal requirements.
• Operate hand tools or equipment as needed to assist with material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols.
• Report any unsafe conditions or issues to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with general labor tasks as required to support landfill operations.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in recycling, waste management, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely (heavy lifting may be required).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
