Shop Technician- Rework & Assembly Job Summary: Company that makes and sells a variety of medical equipment used in ER settings is looking for a technical minded team orientated individual with a high attention to detail to join their dynamic team.
Shop Technician- Rework & Assembly Requirements:
- Repair new Equipment
- Repair and troubleshoot used/returned equipment
- Assemble and disassemble product
- Prepare non-conforming material for rework in accordance with OEM specifications, using work instructions, service manuals, and schematics
- Assemble and test UVC disinfection systems according to technical blueprints, work instructions, and schematics. This includes installing electrical connectors, components, ballasts, sensors, control boards, and measuring UVC output with specialized meters
- Prepare product for shipment
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment
- Testing and using multi-meters
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift 7AM – 4PM M-F overtime could be extended to 6PM. Potentially some Saturdays, but rarely
- $18.00/HR-$19.00/HR
Shop Technician- Rework & Assembly Qualifications:
- Desirable to have some experience with light mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics
- Able to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and use multi-meters
- High attention to detail
- Team oriented
- Willing to cross train in all areas
- Meets productivity standards and internally motivated
- Handles high volume workload
- Strong communication skills
- Good deductive reasoning skills
- Ability to exert up to 100lbs of force and lift up too 50lb frequently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to attain a Hilo and picker license
