One of our long-standing clients in Tualatin is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector with at least 2 years of QC experience with circuit boards. Proficiency in rework and soldering of both SMT and through-hole components under a microscope is a prerequisite.

This is an evaluation of a full-time hire position! 

Duties: 

• Perform first article inspection.
• Perform final quality control inspection.
• Hand-solder SMT and through-hole components to IPC 610 and J-STD-001 Class 3.
• Hand cleaning circuit board assemblies and other various wash methods.Performing rework when necessary.
• Operate the AOI machine.
• Operate the X-Ray machine.
• Accurately record and track quality data.
• Detect quality defects and correct the process to prevent further recurrence.
• Maintain quality standards in all aspects of work.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 2+ years of experience working in a QC role with printed circuit boards
• 2+ years’ experience with SMT soldering (through hole) and rework
• Ability to identify component types
• Able to perform detailed and repetitive work
• Ability to use a microscope and basic small hand tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to read and understand work orders and documentation
• Good manual dexterity
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs 
• Good organization and attention to detail
• HS Diploma or GED  
• Preferred qualifications: IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified

Experience:

• PCB Assembly: 2 years: Required
• Through Hole Soldering: 2 years: Required
• SMT Soldering & Rework: 2 years: Required
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Certification: Preferred
• SMT Soldering & Rew

Education:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Associates in electronics are highly desirable

Pay: $22-$25/hr. DOE

Schedule: 

Monday-Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
