CNC Machinist 

 

• $27-29/Hour to start
• Pembroke, NH
• 1^st Shift, 7am – 3:30pm
• Monday – Friday
• Some OT Available

Duties: 

• Demonstrates precision measuring skills using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges
• Familiar with angle and radius gauges and their proper application
• Willing and able to complete equipment training, including material handling machinery
• Committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Open to learning from others and sharing knowledge when appropriate
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on job requirements and timelines
• Maintains a professional attitude and works well with team members
• Able to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Flexible and willing to cross-train to support different areas as needed
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including identifying discrepancies

 

Requirements:

• Two years of experience with Mills and Lathes
• Able to sweep in a mill head and vice
• Understand feeds and speeds
• Understand G/M codes (programming exp a plus)
• Operation of Fanuc Control, Haas, or Hurco a plus

• Experience setting up and operating both manual and CNC mills and lathes
• Knowledge of machine setup techniques, including alignment and compensating for runout
• Ability to prepare and set up jobs efficiently, with or without detailed documentation
• Familiar with machine controls (such as common CNC systems) and basic programming concepts (G/M codes a plus)
• Strong understanding of tooling selection, feeds, and speeds for various materials and jobs
• Capable of troubleshooting machining processes and assisting with equipment-related issues
