The HPLV Painter/Finisher is responsible for applying high-quality coatings to precision components and assemblies. This role supports one of our pristine clients in the Loves Park area, ensuring all finishes meet strict cosmetic and durability standards required for high-performance optical and mechanical products. Flexible 8 hour first shift schedule starting rate is $24/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming components prior to painting
• Apply coatings using HPLV spray equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications
• Inspect finished parts to ensure uniform coverage, correct thickness, and defect-free appearance
• Maintain and clean spray equipment, paint booths, and work areas
• Follow all safety procedures related to chemicals, ventilation, and PPE
• Work from blueprints, work orders, and production schedules

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HPLV or similar spray painting systems
• Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions or drawings
• Basic math skills for mixing ratios and material usage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
