This client operates advanced manufacturing equipment central to a large-scale production environment, and this role is critical to keeping that equipment running at peak performance. Solar manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. What matters most is deep, hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery, the mechanical and electrical knowledge to get to root cause fast, and the sense of urgency that production environments demand.

Skills and Experience Requirements

·         Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, including hands-on troubleshooting and repair

·         Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

·         Experience working with motors, conveyors, automation systems, and semi-automated or fully automated equipment

·         PLC troubleshooting experience

·         Degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred

·         Background in manufacturing, machining, or similar commercial or industrial settings

·         Proven ability to identify root cause rather than defaulting to parts replacement

·         Stable work history maintaining complex industrial equipment

·         Strong computer skills and technical aptitude

·         Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions under pressure

Job Responsibilities

·         Run diagnostics on high-tech production machinery and identify mechanical and electrical failures

·         Repair and maintain automated and semi-automated equipment to support efficient daily operations

·         Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore production

·         Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

·         Work with PLCs, motors, sensors, and related control systems

·         Follow electrical safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures

·         Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment for early signs of wear or failure

·         Support ongoing production performance improvements

·         Communicate clearly with team members about repairs, equipment status, and emerging issues

Pay and Schedule

$80,000 to $110,000 per year, negotiable based on experience. Company willing to invest.
