MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN / LABORER

Major Duties & Responsibilities

 

Responsible for the preparation of Cure-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner according to the exact specifications agreed upon by the customer.

Responsibilities include:

• All aspects of CIPP liner preparation to include staging, wrapping, loading, and securing for transport.
• Mixing chemicals that require wearing a respirator.
• Install prepared tube in a safe and effective manner using a winch, truck, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment.
• Cure resin product using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
• Stage, wrap, and load wetout tube in totes or trucks according to processes and procedures.
• Perform all work according to safety and quality standards following all environmental procedures.
• Keep a clean, organized work area.
• Clearly communicate effectively with other team members and management as it pertains to safety, quality, or other work-related aspects.

 

Education

 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

 

Knowledge & Experience

 

• Previous experience as Construction/Maintenance or General Laborer, Installation Technician, Carpenter, Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Worker
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to use common sense.
• Clean driving record.

Supervisory Experience

 

None required.

 

 

Physical Activity/Work Environment

 

• Yes – wetout associates have physical requirements to meet.
• Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, and stretch.
• Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, talk and hear without visual cues.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.
• Good vision including color vision along with extended concentration abilities.
