Parts Specialist – Express Employment Professionals

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $20.00/hour with room for advancement
Location: Missoula, MT

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and trustworthy Parts Specialist to support a local company in a primarily desk-based role. This position involves tracking purchases, coordinating freight, handling pricing calculations, communicating with vendors and customers, and completing essential administrative tasks. While the job is mostly office-based, occasional light warehouse duties may be required. We’re looking for someone mechanical, math-savvy, tech‑comfortable, and eager to build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Track purchases, freight, pricing, markups, and discounts
• Maintain communication with vendors and customers
• Process orders and manage parts documentation
• Perform administrative tasks including emailing, phone support, and data entry
• Handle occasional warehouse duties as needed
• Work independently and manage daily operations as the primary person in the office

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with parts or technical products
• Strong math skills (markups, discounts, basic calculations)
• Tech‑savvy and confident using computers, email, and office software
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills
