Location: Edinburg, TX

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support fleet and equipment operations within a logistics and oil environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with diesel engines and fleet maintenance.

Job Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and fuel systems
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Work with operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain fleet availability

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet mechanic required
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently
• Experience working with trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
