Position Title: Recruiter
Location: McAllen, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45am-5pm
Pay Rate: $14-$16/hour DOE

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Recruiter to join our staffing team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates to meet client needs across various industries. This role requires strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to build relationships with both clients and job seekers in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and interview candidates for a variety of positions.
• Post job openings on multiple platforms and manage applicant flow.
• Conduct reference checks and verify candidate qualifications.
• Match candidates’ skills and experience with client job requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand staffing needs.
• Coordinate onboarding and placement details with candidates and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly recruiting goals.
• Assist with other administrative or operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, or human resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online job boards.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
