Job Description 

• Clear debris from ditches, culverts, and storm drains; assist with the installation or repair of drainage pipes.
• Patch potholes with asphalt, assist in paving operations, and help with concrete work for sidewalks and curbs.
• Mow grass and trim weeds along city rights-of-way using tractors, push mowers, and weed eaters; prune trees and remove brush.
• Collect and load limbs, leaves, and litter from city streets; assist in the removal of debris following storms or special events.
• Assist in the installation and repair of street signs and the painting of curbs or traffic markings.
• Operate light vehicles and equipment (e.g., pickup trucks, blowers, chainsaws, and small tractors) and ensure tools are cleaned and maintained.

Job Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew and maintain professional interactions with city residents.
• Physical stamina.
• Must be able to manage time effectively.
• The ability to be a team player.
