Position summary:

Perform sub-assemblies, part mark, deburr sharp edges and clean machining debris from parts, move material to and from work center.

Responsibilities include small parts assembly, using hand tools and grinders to remove sharp edges, cleaning debris from machined parts, following shop schedules to locate parts and reload the machining center with work while delivering completed parts to the next work center, moving material via forklift or pallet jack, and miscellaneous duties that apply to a manufacturing environment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Must be willing to work within strict safety, quality and efficiency standards
• Good listening/learning skills, adaptive and willing to work with others
• Some manufacturing experience a plus
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must follow strict safety apparel requirements
• Punctuality a must
