About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall projects, collaborating with project managers, and helping drive successful bid outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, insulation, and related materials
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
• Prepare and submit competitive proposals and bid packages
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate project planning
• Maintain cost databases and historical records for future estimating
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating (preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
