📍 Location: Cripple Creek
🕒 Schedule: Monday - Thursday   6:00am-4:00pm   with overtime; 50-55 hrs weekly
💵 Pay: $27.00

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Procurement / Buyer for our client in the CRIPPLE CREEK area.

🛠️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, ERP systems, procurement software, data analysis tools - Experience with SAP would big a big plus!
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams (production, finance) and external suppliers.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to report for scheduled in office shifts in the Cripple Creek area
• Consistent and reliable attendance 
• Background requirements may apply

📦 Major Job Duties

• Sourcing and Vendor Selection: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and ethical practices.
• Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiating contracts, payment terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the organization

• Purchase Order (PO) Management: Converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders, placing orders, and monitoring them through delivery.

• Inventory and Supplier Management: Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, and managing supplier relationships to ensure performance standards.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision
• Be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Have a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines
