Material Handler

Salary: $20.00/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a box and pallet supplier located in Buffalo, NY 14206. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity!

 

Payrate: $20.00/hr

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm

 

 

Job Duties:

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.

• Move materials from receiving docks to storage shelves or production lines, ensuring everything is in its designated spot.

• Accurately pull items from inventory to fulfill production or shipping needs.

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and perform daily pre-checks on equipment.

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Forklift experience is required!

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

• Familiarity with RF scanners and basic computer entry.

• Strong communication, a team-player attitude, and the ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
