Job Description

Express Employment is seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Crew Member to join our client’s growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and takes pride in creating well-maintained, beautiful landscapes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planting, weeding, and pruning of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant materials
• Transport and distribute topsoil, mulch, rock, and other ground cover materials
• Conduct routine lawn maintenance using mowers, tractors, trimmers, and similar equipment
• Assist with the construction and installation of walkways, patios, retaining walls, fire pits, and other landscape features
• Safely operate tools and equipment such as jackhammers, laser levels, measuring instruments, drills, and stone saws

 

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Basic math skills, including measurement and calculations
• Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape experience
• Previous supervisory experience
