Production Worker – Steel Fabrication Shop

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join a fast-paced steel fabrication and assembly environment. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality metal products by operating machinery, fabricating components, and maintaining production flow. Successful candidates will bring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a shop setting. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain shop machinery and equipment used in steel fabrication.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and quality standards. 
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure accuracy and quality. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. 
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. 
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to fabrication, assembly, and shop operations. 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility preferred. 
• Mechanical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes, power tools, forklifts, and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed. 
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
