Shift:  5-day work week. 2pm-10:30pm. Rotating day off. Off Sundays

Job Summary:
The Skid Steer Operator is responsible for safely operating skid steer equipment to move, load, and organize raw materials and finished insulation products within the manufacturing facility and yard. This role supports production efficiency by ensuring materials are delivered where needed in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate skid steer to transport raw materials, scrap, and finished insulation products
• Load and unload trucks and move materials around the facility
• Supply production lines with necessary materials and remove waste or excess materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including storage yards and loading zones
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fueling, greasing, reporting issues)
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a skid steer or similar heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing plant setting
• Exposure to dust, noise, and insulation materials
• Requires standing, sitting, and operating machinery for extended periods

Schedule:

• Full-time; may include overtime, weekends, or shift work depending on production needs
