Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Development Manager for a mission‑driven nonprofit organization in the Flathead Valley.

Position: Development Manager

Pay: $50,000–$60,000/year
Schedule: Full‑time | On‑site | Flexible scheduling available (option for four 10‑hour shifts)
Location: Flathead Valley

What You’ll Do

  • Manage donor stewardship, including timely acknowledgements, thank‑you letters, and tax receipts
  • Maintain accurate donor records, gift entry, and reporting within the CRM system
  • Oversee annual giving programs, including appeals, recurring giving, and campaign performance reporting
  • Coordinate fundraising events—handling logistics, promotion, volunteer coordination, and follow‑up
  • Manage social media platforms and support fundraising‑related communications
  • Research, prepare, and track grant applications and reporting requirements
  • Support the Director of Development with documentation and data for larger grant opportunities

What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of donor relations, sponsorship acquisition, and fundraising events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with social media, digital communication, and donor database management
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with donors, board members, staff, and community partners
  • Flexibility, positivity, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
  • Passion for community service and collaborative teamwork

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information
  • Must be bondable and able to pass a pre‑employment background check
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability for events
  • Comfortable with extended computer use and typical office tasks
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
