Role Overview

We are seeking professional and polished Banquet Servers to join our events team in Biloxi. As a Banquet Server, you are the face of the event, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to large groups. This role requires a blend of physical stamina, impeccable manners, and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a large service team to execute flawless events.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Setup: Assist in the set-up of banquet rooms, including moving tables, arranging chairs, laying linens, and setting out polished silverware and glassware.

• Meal Service: Deliver plated meals or manage buffet stations with efficiency and grace. Perform "synchronized service" when required for formal courses.

• Beverage Service: Provide professional table-side water and wine service, ensuring guests' glasses are replenished throughout the event.

• Table Maintenance: Proactively clear appetizer plates, dinnerware, and debris between courses (pre-bussing) to maintain a clean dining environment.

• Guest Interaction: Respond promptly and politely to guest requests or dietary concerns, ensuring a high level of hospitality.

• Post-Event Breakdown: Assist in clearing all tables, stripping linens, and resetting the space for future events.

Requirements

• Professionalism: A well-groomed, professional appearance is required. Most events require a specific uniform (e.g., black slacks, white button-down, non-slip black shoes).

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts and carry heavy oval trays (up to 30 lbs) loaded with multiple plates.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction from the Banquet Captain or Event Manager.

• Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for banquets and weddings.

• Experience: Previous experience in high-end catering, fine dining, or hospitality is highly preferred.
