Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and poised Receptionist to serve as the "Director of First Impressions" for our Gulfport law firm. As the first point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court officials, you will play a critical role in maintaining the firm’s professional reputation. This position requires a sharp individual who can manage a high-volume multi-line phone system while simultaneously assisting with essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Communications Management: Efficiently manage an 8-line phone system, routing calls to the appropriate legal teams and taking detailed, accurate messages.

Client Relations: Greet arriving clients and visitors with a professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming and organized lobby environment.

Administrative Support: Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) to assist with drafting basic correspondence, managing calendars, and organizing digital files.

Mail & Deliveries: Sort and distribute incoming legal mail, faxes, and courier deliveries; coordinate outgoing shipments and service of process documents as needed.

Office Coordination: Maintain the cleanliness of conference rooms between meetings and ensure the front office remains stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with multi-line phone systems (8+ lines) is highly preferred.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional legal etiquette.
