Controller
Location: Guelph, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm – Full Time
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local organization for an experienced Controller.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting including AR, AP, payroll, and reporting
- Maintain internal controls, accurate documentation, and compliance across all accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with all government and banking authorities and deadlines
- Prepare insightful financial reports including project-related profitability analysis, and variance insights to support operational decision-making
- Integrate and troubleshoot information flow across software tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Supervisory or Controller-level responsibilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong ability to connect, reconcile, and validate data across multiple software platforms
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
