We are currently hiring a Locksmith Service Technician Apprentice to join a well-established, locally trusted key and lock service provider. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being out on the road.

You’ll receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced technicians, learning a specialized and in-demand trade.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide on-site service to residential and commercial customers
• Cut and duplicate keys
• Repair and service locks and door hardware
• Re-key and master key lock systems
• Build and customize key padlocks
• Assist with safe moving and installation
• Learn to install, service, and repair door hardware and access systems
• Troubleshoot lock and security issues
• Deliver strong customer service during all interactions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using small tools
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Police Background Check
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Safety footwear required

Training & Growth

• Hands-on training with both shop and field technicians
• Learn industry products, tools, and systems
• Exposure to advanced systems including automatic door operators and access control
• Opportunity to grow into a fully licensed Service Technician

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage: $20/hour
• Wage reviews at 3 months and 6 months
• Day shift with rotating on-call schedule (after probation)
