Schedule: Varies (Days, Evenings, Weekends as needed)
Pay: $15.00/hour

Job Summary:
The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role plays a critical part in infection prevention by properly cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining all assigned areas within the facility.

Job Duties:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of infection
• Properly dispose of trash, linens, and biohazardous waste
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces
• Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning materials
• Follow hospital safety standards and infection control protocols
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Respond to spills, urgent cleaning needs, and isolation room procedures
• Communicate with staff and patients in a professional, respectful manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospital EVS experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Must be able to work weekends or flexible shifts as needed
