Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Seamstress to join our team. This role involves working with heavy-duty fabrics to produce outdoor awnings, such as those used in parks and other outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both single-needle and double-needle (2-needle) commercial sewing machines and take pride in high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Operate single-needle and 2-needle commercial sewing machines
• Sew and assemble outdoor awnings using heavy-duty materials
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and production instructions
• Ensure seams are strong, consistent, and meet quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial/commercial sewing machines (single-needle and double-needle required)
• Ability to work with heavy fabrics and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in awning, upholstery, or canvas work
• Familiarity with measuring, cutting, and pattern alignment

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Work involves handling large pieces of fabric and repetitive motion
