2nd Shift Boiler Operator

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a 2nd Shift Boiler Operator  to join a food manufacturing company in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evalution Hire
•    Schedule: 2nd shift
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: Up to $40/hour

Job Duties:
•    Operate and monitor boiler systems, steam systems, and auxiliary equipment 
•    Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on boilers and related systems 
•    Maintain proper water levels, pressure, and temperature to ensure safe operation 
•    Record operational data, readings, and maintenance activities in logs 
•    Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed 
•    Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies 
•    Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively 
•    Maintain a clean and organized work area
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    High school diploma or GED required
•    Boiler Operator License or certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
•    Previous experience operating industrial boilers or similar equipment preferred
•    Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
•    Ability to read gauges, meters, and technical manuals
•    Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
